The Indianapolis Colts picked up defensive end Rakeem Nunez-Roches off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs and waived outside linebacker Josh Perry on Friday.
The 6-foot-2, 307-pound Nunez-Roches played in 34 career games, including 16 starts, and totaled 51 tackles, five tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in three seasons with the Chiefs. In one postseason game, Nunez-Roches added one tackle.
Last season, Nunez-Roches started 11 of 16 games and finished with 24 tackles and half a sack. In 2016, he split time between the active roster and practice squad while registering 23 tackles, five tackles for loss and one sack for the Chiefs.
Nunez-Roches was selected by Kansas City in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Southern Miss.
