The Carolina Panthers re-signed guard Amini Silatolu to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday.
Silatolu was an unrestricted free agent and is entering his sixth season with the Panthers, who made him their second-round pick in 2012.
He rejoined Carolina last season after spending all of 2016 with the Chicago Bears, whom he never played for.
Last season, Silatolu appeared in 14 games, started the last three games of the regular season at right guard, and helped the Panthers rank fourth in the NFL in rushing at 131.4 yards per game.
